#11 Let’s Go to a Museum
Tuesday – 1:00 p.m. Winter Term 2009 (14 weeks)
Coordinator: Sally More Co-coordinator: Mary Boulware
Course Description
Thanks to Internet sites and catalogues, we will take a virtual trip to 14 of the world’s greatest art museums. Because of the nature of this S/DG there will be no core book.
Each week, we’ll walk the halls of one of these museums with our presenter showing us their world famous art on a private tour without leaving the comfort and convenience of the PLATO classroom! The presentations will be made with the help of the Power Point software program, or overhead or opaque projectors. We can relax, ask questions, and discuss the major art works of the world.
Help will be provided for using the opaque/overhead projectors if needed.
